Negotiations for the sale of Timberwolves, Minnesota, which has competed in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for some time, have reached the goal.
Triples are released this season
Journalist Shams Charania circulated a formal agreement on Twitter indicating that current Wolves owner Glen Taylor agreed to sell the club to legendary American baseball player Alex Rodriguez and businessman Marc Lore.
According to Charania, sales amount to 1.5 billion dollars. The package will include not only the Timberwolves, but the WNBA Minnesota Lynx women’s team as well.
The report adds that the deal will need to be approved by the league.
In 1994, Taylor bought Wolves for $ 94 million. Taking into account inflation and taking into account the current value of the dollar, the club sold 9 times more expensive.
Under Taylor, the Timberwolves never became NBA champions and were closer in 2004 to the Western Conference Finals.
