Paulius Golubickas, a soccer player for the Lithuanian national team who was released from the hospital on Tuesday night and suffered a severe jaw injury over the weekend, signed a four-year contract with the HNK Gorica club, where he’s been playing for rent. The new and talented Lithuanian contract with the Croatian club will be valid until 2024.
“I am pleased to have signed the contract and I thank the club representatives for the opportunity and confidence.” I cannot wait to recover from the injury and continue to help the Gorica club achieve its goals, “said Golubick.
P. Golubickas arrived in Gorica this winter on a rental basis from the Alytus Dainava Club. The lease included a swap option that the Croatian team took advantage of.
“We are a club with a clear value system, we always want to protect our players, especially in such difficult times. Similar things happen in life, but that doesn’t change the fact that Paul has shown in recent months that he is infinitely important to us. We have great faith in your skills and abilities. We have big plans with him, so we decided to activate the exchange clause. We are happy that he will continue to be part of our family and we believe that what does not kill you makes you stronger, “said Mindaugas Nikoličius, Gorica Sports Director.
Paul will travel to Lithuania on Wednesday, spend the next three weeks in his homeland, and then return to Velika Gorika and gradually become involved in the training process.
