The press release should indicate that the form can be completed NVSC website. This would save time for both individuals and professionals.

According to Ginreta Megelinskienė, Head of the Communicable Disease Management Division of the Vilnius Department of the NVSC, so far only a small part of travelers fill in questionnaires electronically. Only yesterday, more than 500 paper questionnaires were collected at the Vilnius airport, the data of which has yet to be entered into the information system by specialists.

“It is unfortunate that people prefer paper questionnaires. This greatly complicates and prolongs the process, wasting time not only for professionals but also for travelers themselves. Therefore, we strongly recommend that people take the opportunity to complete this form electronically. This can be done, for example, before the trip, while waiting for the plane at the airport. We understand that the coronavirus is not an ordinary situation, we understand that people have additional concerns and inconveniences, but to guarantee a check-in convenient and fast, skip the lines at the airport and for people to travel home faster, everyone needs concentration and understanding. We really hope that right now, “says G. Megelinskienė.

NVSC reminds that all persons arriving in Lithuania by air or sea, by decision of the Head of State Emergency Operations, must fill out paper questionnaires or register electronically on the NVSC website.

In the questionnaire, people must indicate their name, surname, place of residence, countries visited, contact information, as well as flight number, seat on the plane or ferry.

Isolation for 14 days from the date of arrival in Lithuania is mandatory for all persons arriving from the affected areas and for foreigners arriving from third countries.
