It was the team’s first meeting since last season’s playoffs when the Nuggets managed to survive, though they fell behind in the series 1-3.
This time, however, the Clippers dominated. The Los Angeles team took the lead firmly in the second half and has never been chasing a role since.
The victory in Colorado was clouded by an incident midway through the fourth quarter when Clippers leader Kawhi Leonard hit his head on the elbow and tripped over the opponent’s penalty area.
With a bloody face, the basketball player got up from the floor minutes later, but the game did not continue.
He scored 21 points in this duel and was only 23 points behind Paul Georg, who scored 23 points.
Nikola Jokičius scored 24 points and bounced 10 balls.
