The Moscow region team “Chimki” suffered no further defeats before the match with Kaunas “Žalgiris”.
According to the website BasketNews.lt, after additional checks of Chimki’s basketball players in the Moscow region on Friday for coronavirus, no new cases of the virus were found.
Donatas Urbonas from 15min.lt was the first to announce it.
Due to the lack of answers about the coronavirus, the match between Žalgiris and Chimki in the Moscow region was postponed from Friday to Saturday.
Chimki’s team includes five basketball players infected with the coronavirus. These are Greg Monroe, Janis Timma, Maxim Berashkov, Yevgeny Voronov, and Jordan Mickey.
Stefan Jovičius and Aleksejus Švedas will not play in the match due to injuries, and Errick McCollum is still isolated.
The match will start today at 8 pm
