This project has been searching for the right country for a long time. Lithuania participated in a big competition, where neighboring countries such as Hungary and the Czech Republic competed, who are filming many important projects. Lithuania has been chosen for its excellent shots and a very strong and professional team.
In Kaunas, the team will shoot some especially important scenes. The city’s foreigner creative team was delighted with its architecture and wide Laisvės alley, as well as the seamless communication with the Kaunas City Municipality.
Temporary restrictions await
On October 16, filming will take place at the Kaunas Central Post Office (Laisvės al. 102). From 1 pm until 6 pm There will be a short stop of pedestrian traffic during the filming of Laisvės ave., Near the Kaunas central post office.
October 19 Filming will take place at the Mykolas Žilinskas Art Gallery (Nepriklausomybės a. 12) and at the LSMU Kaunas Hospital (Laisvės al. 17). From 10 am to 3 pm there will be a temporary stop for foot traffic at the Mykolas Žilinskas Art Gallery.
Also on October 19. from 2 pm Transportation and pedestrian traffic will be restricted until 10 pm, Av. Laisvės, on the section from Sobor to Av. Vytautas.
Vehicle parking
For filming the Netflix series as of October 15. 12:00 pm. until October 16. 10 pm it will not be possible to park vehicles in L. Sapiegos str. (near Kaunas City Municipality), I. Kanto str. (on the section from Laisvės ave. to Kęstučio str.) and J. Gruodžio str. (on the section from I. Kanto Street to J. Gruodžio 9 Street).
Starting October 16. 07.00 until 19 October. 11 pm it will not be possible to park in the car park on Kęstučio street. (behind the Mykolas Žilinskas Art Gallery).
Starting October 18. 12:00 pm. Until 19th October. 11 pm it will not be possible to park vehicles on Gedimino str. (in the section from Soboro to Gedimino str. 33).
Starting October 18. 12:00 pm. Until 19th October. 10 pm it will not be possible to park vehicles in Laisvės al. (on the section from Sobor to Avda. Vytautas).
