According to Šiauliai TIC, the locals hope that it does not suffer the same fate as the field near Trakai.

“On the other hand, it is not surprising that the poppy field has become a stop for photography enthusiasts,” they say.

This week there were complaints from the owners of the camp near Trakai about the visitors. Suddenly a popular field hosts scold: people chasing beautiful shots trample on their livelihood.

“People, be aware, our family will have to live on that harvest and you will destroy it,” Tatiana Vainovskaya told the people.
