Information about a negative COVID-19 test result was received Saturday night.

Most of the staff in the president’s office will return to their jobs on Monday, which were still disinfected on Friday. An employee who has been in contact with an infected person will continue to work remotely until August 17.

In view of the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the country, additional protection measures will be introduced in the Presidency of the Republic from the beginning of the week. The body temperature measurements of all employees, guests and visitors entering the Presidential Palace will be updated. Henceforth, all visitors and guests to the President’s Office must wear face masks. It has also been established that the personnel of the Presidency of the Republic must wear masks when at least one visitor or guest is present at the meeting, as well as in internal meetings where a distance of 2 meters is not maintained and when attending meetings in other institutions.

Starting Monday, Office of the President staff are encouraged to hold meetings remotely if possible.

The news portal tv3.lt recalls that G. Nausėda and the Office of the Presidency isolated themselves when it became clear that one of the employees had contact with a person with coronavirus.
