According to the report, it is agreed that the Belarusian regime has launched a hybrid attack against Lithuania, organizing the flow of illegal immigrants across the Lithuanian border.
“The head of state pointed out that while Lithuania finds ways to repel the hybrid attack carried out by the Belarusian regime, it is trying to direct the artificial flow of illegal immigrants to other NATO countries in the eastern fringe,” the report said.
G. Nausėda and J. Stoltenberg also discussed the security situation in the context of the Russian-Belarusian military exercise “Zapad 2021” taking place in the region. It was emphasized that the Alliance must remain extremely alert and prepared for possible incidents.
