Narkevičius calls the election rigged: the rapes were planned in advance

The Polish Electoral Action Union of Lithuanian Christian Families held a press conference on Monday, in which it publicly resented the work of the Central Election Commission (CEC) during the elections.

Jaroslav Narkevičius, member of LLRA-KŠS, Minister of Transport and Communications, stated that the electoral violations had been planned in advance. According to him, the votes in all electoral districts must be recalculated and in the Paneriai-Grigiškės electoral district they must be annulled.

“It is possible that these systemic violations were planned in advance, organized and, if necessary, carried out. In one constituency, as we mentioned, in Užusienis, up to 16 votes were illegally removed from LLRA-KŠS, because the ballots were not sealed. ”Said J. Narkevičius.

“It just came to our attention then. First of all, the largest number of such discrepancies in our district is in Trakai Vokė, but not only.

<...> 603 void votes. Yesterday I paid close attention to how the CEC commission members recalculated. This was found between invalid and valid. 55 ballots were found in the Užusienis district without the district seal, although the voters clearly expressed their will, ”said Renata Cytacka, LLRA-KŠS candidate for the Seimas in the Paneriai-Grigiškės electoral district.

She was also suspicious of, as she puts it, supposedly falsified votes.

“There were cases where the one-member ballot came from another constituency. Somewhere, our colleagues had no voice, and it did. At Trakai Vokė, I think it’s suspicious, because the Liberal Movement found 11 bulletins with one hand and the 16th ranking written with a pen, ”said R. Cytacka.

The candidate claims that more ballots were found at the polls in Trakai Vokė than were cast.

Confirmed the results

Late Sunday night, the CEC confirmed the results of the first round of parliamentary elections in all single-member constituencies.

The approval procedure began around noon, but the process lasted until 11 p.m., when the commission decided to count all the votes in the Paneriai-Grigiškės constituency and the Upninkai district in the southern Deltuva constituency.

After counting the votes, in one of the districts of the Paneriai-Grigiškės district – Trakai Vokė – it was established that approximately one-tenth of all the votes were not counted or incorrectly counted, in other districts no significant violations were observed. The CEC removed the president of this constituency electoral commission due to inadequate work to ensure correct electoral protocols.

The final results of the first round in the single-member constituency have not changed: the conservative Agnė Bilotaitė and the candidate of the Freedom Party, Rita Balčiūnienė, will participate in the second round. In the next week, the CEC will also recalculate all priority votes cast in this multi-member constituency.

Demands the nullity of the electoral results

The portal tv3.lt recalls that last week LLRA-KŠS submitted an application to the Central Electoral Commission, requesting to declare the results of the elections to the Seimas in a multinominal constituency invalid. The CEC affirms that the complaint will be examined before the approval of the results of the Seimas elections in multi-member districts

The party claims that the law on the Seimas elections was seriously violated due to Freedom TV’s campaign against party leader Valdemar Tomaševskis and the party.

The Polish electoral campaign did not exceed 5% during these elections to the Seimas. voting barrier and did not enter the Seimas. The party raised 4.82 percent in the elections. votes. It is true that two single-member members of LLRA-KŠS won seats for the Seimas in the first round.
