Adam Savage’s sister, Miranda Pacchiana, says that her brother sexually abused her “over a period of several years,” and it all started when she was just seven and her brother was nine.
“As a child, this experience shook my sense of security and undermined my self-confidence. Decades later, I went through depression and anxiety, Pachchiana wrote on her blog. “The public needs to know that Adam Savage sexually abused me as a child, as stated in the documents that I was able to fill out after so many years.”

Popular television presenter Adam Savage denies the sister’s allegations through her attorney, Andrew Brettler.
“Hoping that my sister will get the help she needs to find peace, it must end. For many years, he relentlessly and falsely attacked me and other members of my family, all who listened. By spreading false stories about us for financial gain, he tortured the entire family and distanced himself from us, ”Adam Savage wrote in a statement delivered by his lawyer to Variety.com. “I will fight this unfounded and offensive lawsuit and try to end it forever.”

That her Pacchiana was lying was also confirmed by her mother, Karen Savage.
“It is sad to say that, but my daughter is struggling with serious psychological challenges,” she said. “Adam is a good person and I totally support him.”
According to Ms. Pacchiana, she had not been in contact with her brother for more than two decades.
In documents received by the New York Post, the woman claims that Adam Savage repeatedly “raped” her and forced her to have oral sex, as well as “other forms of sexual abuse.”
