Aldona Vasiliauskienė, the model for organizing researcher conferences: the practical aspects of the problem were most frequently discussed in various regions of Lithuania (Vilkaviškis, Lukšiai, Rokiškis, Kuršėnai, Bartkuškis) and theoretical ones in higher schools (Vilnius Pedagogical and Šiauliai University , Panevėžys College, Panevėžys College) Scientific articles prepared on the basis of papers presented at conferences were published in the scientific journal Pedagogika (2004, 2008, 2010) and other publications. The professor’s scientific activity was directly related to his rich artistic experience. In 1964, at the age of just 23, he founded the Gija Mixed Choir in Šiauliai, which glorifies Lithuanian choral culture to this day. For six years he was artistic director of the Šiauliai Jovaras Song and Dance Ensemble, conducted the Šiauliai Varsa Teachers ‘Choir and the Šiauliai District Cultural Workers’ Choir, formed children’s choirs, conducted song festivals and gave concerts with art groups in Finland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Belarus and Latvia. , traveled throughout almost all of Lithuania, organized musical events during the Sąjūdis period, prepared ensembles for the Lithuanian Song Festival, the Second Lithuanian Song Festival (1994), the Republican Festival of Religious Music (2000), international festivals of students, etc. He is the winner of the 5th International S. Šimkus Choir Competition and several national competitions.

At the same time, the researcher delved into education problems, worked in schools, led children’s choirs, and trained future teachers. He has made particularly significant achievements at this bar. He summarized his experience and research in 8 published monographs (two of them were published abroad), 11 teaching and methodological tools, and published nearly a hundred scientific articles in Lithuanian and foreign publications.
