During “Night of Culture” on September 25, in a makeshift open house photo studio, he photographed all interested cultural night watchers for three hours straight. And at midnight, an impressive “Face Flag 20” video projection, linking the portraits of more than 150 participants, flashed on the wall of Vilnius Old Town.
“All the participants had to do was choose a colored background for their portrait: yellow, green or red,” says author photographer Žaneta Paunksnė. “It was a creative tri-color test that uncovered an emotional layer through love for the yellow of the sun, the green of nature, or the red of fighting.”

In anticipation of the end of the project, the participants and spectators had a passionate discussion about the possible victory of colors, and therefore of characters, in our society. The guesses varied, but the result is very close to the proportion of colors of the flag: 38 portraits on a green background, 45 in red and 48 in yellow.
“I was not surprised by this,” smiled the author. It was very good to feel his emotions and connection with his chosen background. It was a worthy duo: me and my color. Thank you all for your openness! “Said the artist.
