“Žalgiris” announces that the center forward and his team will go to Belgrade today, where tomorrow the Lithuanian champions will play against “Crvena Zvezda” from Belgrade.

Lauvergne had undergone COVID-19 tests before and after the first round of the Euroleague in Piraeus, both negative. The highest tested again on Wednesday; the tests again showed a negative result.

But on Thursday, “Žalgiris” received a revised report that an error had occurred in the legionnaire’s test and it was still positive. As a result, the Frenchman was isolated and did not fly to Russia with the team.
