In response to sanctions from the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom and Canada, Belarus announces its sanctions, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.

The report was updated with the section on responsible sanctions and obligations to Great Britain and Canada.

To date, Belarus has led a series of sanctions against the EU for visa sanctions. According to current civilized diplomatic practice, we will not publish it, the report says.

The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that the general flow of unauthorized persons also applies to integration associations run by Belarus.

The ministry stated that on October 1. The European Council (EVS) distanced itself from its neighbor Belarus.

The sanctions were imposed as a punitive measure, mainly due to the fact that Belarus did not comply with the set of ultimatums that no self-respecting sovereign state would have satisfied. First, the EU will be a member, the report says.

Belarus, whose regime has been subject to EU sanctions for rigged elections and crackdown on protests, says it fears the sanctions will also affect citizens and other areas of cooperation.

Those responsible for making these decisions in the EU are aware that this is a utopia: any attack of this nature affects companies, their security, their well-being and their economy. So there is no need to be hypocritical. It is precisely these cynical and ridiculous solutions that give the image of the European bureaucracy a deterrent and a cause for concern within the EU and in many of its partners. This also makes Brexit even more understandable, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.

Belarus is always dressed in leather and works in the face of the confrontation. We dialogue and understand. But as a sovereign state, also in the morning, although not without regret, we will respond to hostile actions to defend our national interests natively, the statement said.

It is clear that the decision of European leaders allows travel bans and property misappropriation to be announced for the 40 members of Alexander Lukashenko’s regime who are responsible for the manipulation of the presidential elections and the repression of protesters. There are no sanctions against Mr Lukashenko himself, but the EU will monitor the situation and developments. You may be subject to sanctions at a later date if you refuse to enter into negotiations with the opposition.

Does not rule out the possibility of exiting the joint program

The Belarusian ministry has not ruled out the possibility that the country will withdraw from the joint program and project if the EU sanctions flyer continues to spin.

The new reversal of the EU sanctions crisis could have even more serious consequences, such as the withdrawal of Belarus from the joint program and project, the revision of the level and the modality of diplomatic representation until the decision on whether to maintain diplomatic relations, underlined the ministry.

He called on the EU not to give the Belarusians a mountain of gold in the next life and to redouble their joint efforts to combat common causes such as illegal migration, international crime and terrorism, the infectious disease pandemic and its socioeconomic consequences.

We call on the European Union to open its borders to all Belarusians, not just the elected, instead of building a new fence, announces the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The EU threatens to reconsider its relations with Belarus. It will be your choice. Belarusians, for their part, are also ready for a similar review of relations and will continue to respond appropriately to any hostile action, the statement said.

Attempts by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry also predict that attempts to impose on Belarusians any approved representative of the government’s exile projects will fail.

The fate of such a structure is slow: before they begin, they are at the bottom of the historical process, the ministry said.

It takes responsibility for sanctions and obligations to Great Britain and Canada.

Belarus announced late Friday that it would retaliate against a number of British and Canadian obligations in response to restrictive measures announced by London and Ottawa.

“We are leading symmetrical restrictive measures in a string of British and Canadian parents,” Anatoly Hlaz, spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, announced on Friday.

According to him, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry drew attention to the announcement of sanctions against the British and Canadians.

In our opinion, these are completely wrong and ineffective actions, Mr. Hlaz said.

He recalled that similar measures had been adopted in these countries in 2006, but that they had no effect and were finally revoked.

However, both countries are wasting time and will not withdraw it, said the representative of the Foreign Ministry.
