The Telegram channel NEXTA Live has posted videos of more than a dozen people posing as ex-military or military. It is true that there is no evidence that all these people were or are representatives of power structures.

In one video, a man takes off a specnazo uniform and throws it away, saying he was proud of his service but is now embarrassed. “I have sworn to my people, I have been proud of where I have served. Now I am ashamed. Shame. It is a disgrace to all who keep such commandments, “he says.

More than 370 thousand. The patrols were picked up by a record of the former captain of the militia on Instagram. He said he resigned after 17 years of service and attached a photo showing his shoulders, a job certificate and a thank you letter on his behalf. The man added the hashtag #militiautauta.

Another Instagram user says that “the Belarusian special school fraternity is gone.” He takes the beret off his head and throws it in the trash.

Another Belarusian militiaman has written an appeal to his colleagues calling for an end to violence against unarmed citizens and to “be with the people”. According to the Dožd television channel, he stated that he would not leave the service, but that he would not comply with “criminal orders”. Later, the man turns to Sviatlan Cichanouskaya, an opposition candidate who has gone to Lithuania, calls her the legitimate president, and says that he is awaiting his orders to defend the country.

News.ru writes that already on the first night of the protests, some law enforcement officers addressed the protesters. In some cities, OMON militants refused to pursue protesters. “OMON lowered the shields on Kobrine. People yell “coolers” and hug law enforcement. The militia with the people! ”NEXTA wrote.
