According to V. Babarika, the time has come to announce that the struggle continues, and for that a new form is being created, which will provide the opportunity to unite all supporters. It speaks of the creation of a party or movement whose objectives would be the introduction of constitutional reforms, economic development, efforts to give people the opportunity to show civic initiative.

V. Babarika emphasizes that despite the defeat in the elections, it is necessary to create such a movement.

Ms. Kolesnikova went on to say that they were forming the “Together” political party. She highlighted that more has been created in the last three months than in the last 26 years. The country is currently in a political, social and economic crisis, and “together we know how to get out of this crisis.”

Hundreds and thousands of talented Belarusians are ready to take responsibility and build a new Belarus together. Registration documents will be sent in the near future. We will unite and become even stronger. Together we will win! Kolesnikova said.

“We understand that the time has come to announce the continuation of our fight, but with a certain organizational form in which we can unite all the supporters,” Babaryka said in the video.

“The main goals and objectives we want are for this movement to address them. The first is to carry out a constitutional reform. This is the most important task today ”, he emphasized.

The party’s second task will be to unite civic initiatives, Babaryka said.

His chief of staff, Maryja Kalesnikava, said: “Today we announce the establishment of the political party” Together “.”

“In the last three months, we have all done more together than in the last 26 years. We fight together and continue to fight for freedom and our future. Today we are shaping a new, conscious and responsible Belarusian society. New challenges and requests are emerging that must be addressed. The country is going through a political and socio-economic crisis. And together we know how to get out of this crisis, “said M. Kalesnikava.

He indicated that the documents for the registration of the new batch will be presented soon.

At that time, the Belarusian opposition Coordination Council will not change the format of its work, despite the formation of the “Together” party, the council’s press service told Interfax on Monday.

“The council is not a political party and the Viktoras Babaryka headquarters is creating a political party. The form of the council does not change in any way,” his press service said.

He affirmed that the initiative of a new political force had been agreed with those “members of the Presidium of the Coordinating Council with whom it was possible, given the objective circumstances.”

We remind you that a little earlier, at the press conference, Pavel Latuška declared that it was time to create a public movement on the basis of the Coordination Council.

“The legitimacy of the Coordinating Council as an institute is often questioned. We should probably think about creating a registered social movement, which should include representatives of various social groups, in order to demonstrate to the government – it is the subject of negotiations”, said P. Latuška.
