K. Glaveckas will rest eternally in the Antakalnis cemetery in the capital.

K. Glaveckas was one of the former members of parliament: a qualified economics doctor, professor already in 1990. He became a deputy of the Supreme Restorative Council of the Seimas, he was a signatory of the Act of Independence.
Since 1996, he has been elected parliamentarian seven times in a row. He chaired the Budget and Finance Committee on several occasions and was its Vice-Chairman.
During his four years away from Seimas, K. Glaveckas advised Lithuanian and foreign companies. founded the Free Market Institute of Lithuania with like-minded people. he was president of his council.
Last year he entered the Seimas according to the list of candidates of the Liberal Movement, but soon his colleagues’ relationships began to cool down. Although the politician had previously said that he would always be liberal, he soon withdrew from the party and joined the Mixto Seimas group.
