The Seimas member himself told the tv3.lt news portal that on October 8 he attended a reception at the hotel.
“I hung a coat in the closet at that hotel, which left a wallet in my inside pocket. I didn’t miss her right after the event. It wasn’t until the next day that I went to the dentist that I discovered that I didn’t have the paperwork. Then I tried to trace the events when I last saw her. I think 99 percent that the wallet was lost in the hotel, ”said the politician.
K. Masiulis says that he called the hotel because he expected someone to find a wallet, but he heard a negative response:
“I asked if I couldn’t find it, but I said no. That wallet is worth 60 euros. The thief cares what is inside the wallet. There wasn’t much cash there. The biggest penalty are the lost documents, you will have to recreate them.
Last Saturday the idea came up to go to the hotel and see the garbage cans next to the hotel. But I thought about how I would look (laughs, aut. Past). I’ll make those documents. “
K. Masiulis affirms that it is not the first time that they rob him. You have been the victim of thieves abroad in the past.
“Then I was robbed at the reception of the 5-star hotel. During check-in, I put a suitcase and a briefcase on top. From there, I pulled out my wallet while checking in.
