In the Mazeikiai district, an unlicensed and drunk man, sitting behind the wheel of a four-wheeled “Yamaha” motorcycle, tried to avoid a meeting with police officers, but his escape attempt did not last long.
27 March At approximately 3:15 pm, in the village of Paleikiai, Mažeikiai district, officers from the Telšiai County Highway Police Department patrolling an unmarked police car were flagged down by a red unmarked quad bike.
The fugitive, among other things, was found to be drunk at 1.32 per thousand.
The officers, who turned on special sound and light signals, wanted to stop the vehicle for inspection, but the driver decided to avoid confrontation with them; did not stop. While following the loudspeaker, the officers clearly asked for them to stop, but the driver did not listen, did not comply with legal requirements and ignored them. He drove across the meadow trying to escape.

Still, the fugitive could not escape. The hunt, which lasted a few minutes, was over. It turned out that the policemen’s request to stop the vehicle was ignored by a man born in 1992. When asked why the police officers were not stopping, he replied that he did not recognize the police car.
Even later, it became clear that he not only ignored the requirement to stop, but drove the vehicle not only without the right to stop, but also in a technically messy car, not registered in accordance with the law and without mandatory liability insurance. . By the way, he was also intoxicated. He was found to be light: 1.32 per thousand, drunk.
Administrative offense protocols were drawn up for the driver in accordance with Article 426 of the ANC of the Republic of Lithuania. 5 d., 424 p. 4 d., 415 p. 1 and 2 d.
Road police officers urge road users to be honest and do not sit behind the wheel of a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or without the right to do so.
