At approximately 4.50 pm a massive accident occurred in the Trakai district, on the Vilnius-Druskininkai highway, near the Paluknis airfield.
A tractor and three passenger cars are said to have collided: a Renault, a VW Passat, and a Toyota.
According to preliminary data, one of the cars waited for the opportunity to pass the tractor, then felt a strong blow to the rear of the vehicle. According to witnesses, then a massive accident occurred.
Doctors who arrived at the scene took two young children and a driver, a Toyota car driver and a small boy in a VW Passat to the hospital.
Police officers are clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
