Martynas moved to his new place of residence as soon as he was discharged from the hospital, thus symbolically opening a new leaf of his life. Martynas said his condition at the hospital became even more complicated and he was eventually placed on resuscitation. Although most young people are said to have a coronavirus infection similar to the common cold or do not exhibit any symptoms, Martin’s condition was serious and doctors were very cautious about his chances, according to a press release from the show’s creators. .

“50 percent. People experience complications, the rest do not. I had complications and didn’t know what would happen next. I could no longer breathe with my lungs. I could no longer use my lungs at all. Only through this device, which is placed on the nose, ”says Martynas.

The guy openly admits that there were times when he didn’t expect to get stuck. “I was expecting the worst and I really didn’t expect to get stuck. I’ve seen people come and go, I really don’t think they were released that quickly. I think that many of the people who slept with me in the ward are no longer among the living, ”says Martynas, adding that he has survived mainly thanks to his loved ones and because death can cause a lot of problems for them to take the remains home in quarantine.

Martin was treated in one of the best hospitals: St. Tom’s Hospital, where the most serious patients were transported. At the same time, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, was being treated there together with Martin. “He was also in the intensive care unit, but far above me. I was lying on the third floor, he was in the fourth. Where there are VIP lounges. Everyone around me repeated that everything will be fine, everything will be fine … I was confused and confused, I no longer understood what would be good here, what would be bad here. I was waiting for what would happen, ”says Martynas, who has been ill for a total of 45 days.

Although the disease is over, Martynas says she is still feeling its effects. He even had to rent a special lung ventilator in case he suddenly had trouble breathing again. Martynas admits that he is jealous of the situation in Lithuania, because in his opinion, the fight against the disease is much better than in the United Kingdom, which has responded to the threat of COVID-19 quite calmly from the beginning.
