Marku’s revival is gaining momentum: a new apartment building project begins

In the Prie Vilnelė neighborhood, 220 apartments in 2-7 storey houses have been designed for settlers. The number of rooms in the apartments varies from 1 to 4, and the areas of the apartments vary from 31 to 102 m2. meters. Prices for apartments start at 71 thousand. euros. Additionally, flexible first installment terms are offered at an early stage in project development. 15 percent of the down payment can be paid in installments until the houses are built, and the first installment is 2,000. euro, said the press release.

According to Saulius Misevičius, architect of the residential neighborhood “Prie Vilnel residencial”, the goal of the neighborhood design was for the people who lived here to experience nature while still at home. “The apartments, common spaces and courtyards are designed to breathe in the reliefs, contours, colors of the surrounding nature and everyone can enjoy the benefits of an exceptional environment,” he says. One of the singularities of the project is a roof terrace, open to the entire community of this town and which allows you to admire the panoramic view.

Another great advantage is the opportunity to spend physically active time close to the house: biking, running or just walking outside. A study of the physical activity of the Lithuanian population carried out by the company Spinter tyrimai in 2019 showed that this type of physical activity is the one that the residents of our country like the most: 85 percent. respondents indicated that they participated in other physical activities in addition to a specific sport, such as riding a bicycle, working in the garden or yard, walking, etc.

At the same time, the neighborhood’s location, the left bank of Vilnelė near Markučiai, allows you to quickly and conveniently exchange the tranquility of nature for the hustle and bustle of the old town, which is only 1.5 km away. It will also be possible to reach it on the future cycle paths that cross the riverside to the center of Vilnius and Belmontas.

The Prie Vilnelės neighborhood is part of the “Architecture Park” project initiated by the Vilnius Municipality. Its aim is to revitalize and convert as part of the center of Vilnius even 78 hectares of disused industrial space, which stretches from Užupis to the Belmont Forest and borders the Vilnelė River.
