Spanish basketball legend Marc Gasol has become a free agent, but that status may change soon.

The Catalan newspaper L’Esportiu announces that Gasolis should become a newcomer to the Girona Uni Girona team on the next day.
The Girona club will play the second season of the Spanish league next season and it was the last team in Europe where Marc played before a spectacular stage in the NBA.
In recent years, the 36-year-old basketball player has been very immersed in the life of the Girona club and is the president of this team.
During his NBA career, Gasolis was selected to the All-Star Game three times, in the top five in 2015, and in 2013 he became the best defensive basketball player in the league.
In the 2018-2019 season, Marc represented the Raptors club, with which he became NBA champion, and has played in Los Angeles since 2020.
This summer, Gasol announced the end of his career with the Spanish national team after the Tokyo Olympics.
