A snowstorm has slowed movement across much of Spain, especially in the capital Madrid. Sunday’s ACB League match between Movistar Estudiantes de Madrid and Casademont de Zaragoza was postponed after registering the record half.

It was agreed to move them to Tuesday. Heavy snowfall has forced the Madrid airport to suspend operations and the city authorities to close several surrounding roads. It is observed that Madrid is among the most affected areas, with half of Spain included in the red zone.

“Is Zaragoza the new Canada?” Wrote Dylan Ennis, a Canadian Legionnaire from Casademont.

Up to 20 centimeters of penises are expected for the next day in Madrid. Numerous vehicles were stuck on a highway near the capital on Friday night, and firefighters were called in to rescue drivers who were unable to move.

Authorities have approached people with a request to avoid unnecessary travel. According to Spanish media, Storm Filomena caused perhaps the biggest snowfall in at least 40 years. According to the country’s meteorological agency, AEMET, such a snowstorm in the country is “exceptional and historic.”

A degree of heat is registered in Madrid on Saturday. During the night from Monday to Tuesday, the coldest is forecast for the next few days, minus twelve degrees.
