M. Bukauskas lost to the Polish M.Oleksiejczuk by a different decision of the judges and suffered a second consecutive defeat in the UFC organization.

Lithuanian at the UFC 260 Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Tournament in Las Vegas, USA. Modest Bukauskas (11-4) unsuccessfully returned to the cage and, by a different decision of the judges (28-29, 29-28, 28-29), lost to a Polish teammate Michalui Oleksiejczukui (15-4) and suffered a second consecutive defeat.

M.Bukauskas started the fight with a kick from the return, but did not reach the goal. At the beginning of the round, the fighters moved a lot around the cage and exchanged shots. Two minutes later, M. Bukauskas tried to convert the Pole, but was unsuccessful. Soon, M.Bukauskas made several high-impact punches with his right hand, but the Pole failed to knock him out. The Lithuanian himself successfully fended off many of the opponent’s attacks and suffered no major damage in the first round.

Midway through the second round, M. Oleksiejczuk managed to counterattack successfully, lightly damaging M. Bukauskas’s left cheek. A minute before the end of the round, M.Bukauskas met the attacking opponent with a big shot to the elbow and then the fighters held on for a short time. The round was completed by M. Bukauskas with a series of blows with both hands and feet.

Midway through the third round, M.Oleksiejczukas pressed M.Bukauskas against the edge of the cage, but without much damage, the Lithuanian successfully freed himself and landed accurate punches. In the third round, M. Oleksiejczuk attacked M. Bukauskas’s body more and more and did so quite successfully, and after one such blow, the Lithuanian fluctuated significantly, but did not fall. At the end of the round, the fighters exchanged blows, and as soon as the gong was heard announcing the end of the fight, they both raised their hands.

Both fighters had something in common before this fight, in 2020. They were both defeated by a rising Australian star. Jimmy Crute’as (12-1). The Pole faced him on February 22. and in the first round they lost by the action of kimura, and the Lithuanian on October 17. he was knocked out in the first round.

M.Oleksiejczuk, like M.Bukauskas, began his career in the middleweight class, but had the most success in the light heavyweight class. 2016 the Pole won the championship belt of the TFL organization, and in 2017 he found himself in the UFC.

Oleksiejczuk made his UFC debut against Khalil Rountree, but soon lost because clomiphene was found in his body. For this, M. Oleksiejczuk was disqualified for one year. After the scandal, he returned to the UFC strong and in 2019. He knocked out both Gianas Villante and Gajimurada Antigulov, but at that point his progress ended. 2019 at the end of the 19th century he was arrested for a painful act of Ovince Saint Preux, followed by the aforementioned defeat of J. Crute.

The last three battles of M. Bukauskas ended in the first rounds: before moving to the UFC, the Lithuanian defended the champion belt in the Cage Warriors organization when he knocked out Riccardo Nosiglia, and in his UFC debut fight he defeated the late Greek Greek Andreas by technical knockout. As we have already mentioned, in the last fight M.Bukauskas lost to J.Crute in the third minute of the round.
