– Before the game, it was clear that you were going to get more minutes, how much anger and enthusiasm did you show in the Euroleague?
– It was fun to go out to play basketball, because this season I am gaining more experience, individual work in training, gaining peace and exploitation on the field. The team often lacks that, we saw races today too, it got good at times. The anger was clear, the ambitions too, I think I got along well. Sure, I rushed somewhere, but half hell.
– What has this year contributed to “Žalgiris”, not only playing on the field, but also working with the team’s players?
– First, work etiquette, professional basketball approach and life. Understanding that sometimes I do not succeed, but I am in a great situation: for nineteen years, I have just finished school, I am in one of the best organizations in Europe, with one of the best Lithuanian players, Super legionaries, I have every opportunity to grow. The change in attitude helped me a lot and I feel that I have improved significantly psychologically.
– When did Paulius Jankūnas inform the team that he will play one more year?
– In the locker room just now. We just found out, we arrived, we were happy, there were jokes, we can still hear it because the changing room is right next to the conference room. Definitely a really fun environment now.
