Deputy R. Šarknickas was immediately isolated after reading reports about his colleague’s diagnosis in the media on Saturday night.
They are sitting next to them in Seimas’s living room.
“Inevitably we have to communicate in the meeting, we sit half a month apart”, 15 minutes said R. Šarknickas, together with V.Simulikas, in the faction of the ruling “peasants”.
“It just came to our attention then. Maybe it will save us that we were wearing masks,” he added.

The parliamentarian said that the situation generated additional concern because he had donated blood on Friday, and since he did not know the diagnosis of V. Simulik, he indicated in the questionnaire that he had no contact with the COVID-19 patient.

R. Šarknickas said that he did not remember if they had communicated with each other, but it is not possible not to speak in the Seimas so close.
“Bench’s friends always get into each other,” said R. Šarknickas.
