Representatives of the Union of Christian Families of the Lithuanian Polish Election Campaign (LLRA-KŠS) and Labor Party candidate Artūras Skardžius state that in case of significant discrepancies in the single-member electoral district of Paneriai-Grigiškė, the votes should be reverted to be calculated throughout Lithuania.

Party representatives also claim that if the Central Election Commission (CEC) determines that approximately one-tenth of the votes in the Trakai Vokė district of the Paneriai-Grigiškės constituency were not counted or were counted incorrectly, the results should be reversed. and hold new elections.

“There are almost 2 thousand people in Lithuania. Neighborhoods. Due to the cases mentioned only by Paneriai-Grigiškės, the non-stamping of newsletters alone can have a huge scale throughout Lithuania. Therefore, I will mention once again that all the votes must be counted, well, and in the Paneriai-Grigiškės constituency, the results have been annulled, ”said an LLRA-KŠS representative, Transport and Communications Minister Jaroslav Narkevičius during a press conference on Monday.

According to him, this is necessary to clear doubts about the transparency of the elections.

After finding violations, the CEC removed the chairman of the electoral commission for the Paneriai-Grigiškės electoral district due to improper work. Members of the CEC counted the votes of the constituency on Sunday, but the final results of the first round did not change. In the second round, the conservative Agnė Bilotaitė will compete here with the representative of the Freedom Party Rita Balčiūnienė. The CEC intends to recount the priority votes cast by voters in this constituency this week.

Renata Cytacka, the third remaining representative of LLRA-KŠS, says that the discrepancies in the electoral district were huge, that is, part of the ballots were not sealed, the votes were recalculated twice, which increased the gap between her and R Balčiūnienė.

“I was surprised, when I counted them, my votes disappeared somewhere, they were erased, I don’t know why, because I still don’t have information from the CEC on what basis (…). The biggest discrepancies in our constituency are in Trakai Vokė, but not only: it was not the case in almost any constituency that all the votes and all the results coincided ”, stated R. Cytacka.

According to their data, the number of ballots cast and found at the polls does not coincide in some districts, as well as more than 4%. Ballot papers were declared invalid, in some constituencies they were not stamped, or were considered valid among invalid ballot papers, as well as voter papers from other constituencies, including individual constituencies from other constituencies.

For example, according to her, more than 130 additional votes were found in the Trakai Vokė area after the recalculation. Therefore, he also called for the recount of all votes in the country and the announcement of new elections in the Paneriai-Grigiškės electoral district.

“It just came to our attention then. If you add at least one of those votes in every constituency in Lithuania, we would exceed the 5% threshold,” Cytacka said.

She and the fourth A. Skardžius, who remained in the aforementioned single-member constituency, both asked the CEC to admit foreign observers when recalculating the results.

“I am not a newcomer, I am not participating in the elections for the first time, but I have not seen so much confusion and such results that they are trying to be recognized as valid. And I think it would be really correct to finally recalculate the results in our 11 districts with independent observers (…), and maybe it would make sense not to publish the results until they have been recalculated in Lithuania, in the 2000 districts, “said A Skardžius.

In his opinion, the discrepancy between the bulletins published and found in the Paneriai-Grigiškės district should also be explained by law enforcement.

After counting the votes on Sunday in the Trakai Vokė district of the Paneriai-Grigiškės electoral district, it was established that approximately one-tenth of all votes were either not counted or incorrectly counted, no significant violations were observed in other districts. The CEC removed the president of this constituency electoral commission due to inadequate work to ensure correct electoral protocols.
