After assessing all possible risks, LKL decided to postpone the match between the Utena Juventus and Alytus Dzūkija teams until October 11.
The Juventus and Dzūkija teams were scheduled to meet on October 10 (Saturday) at 4 pm 30 minutes.
This decision is related to the fact that the duel between Pieno Žvaigždės and Panevėžys Lietkabelis, which is scheduled for Sunday, will be broadcast on television. However, if the match between the teams Pasvalys and Panevėžys cannot take place, the match between “Juventus” and “Dzūkija” will be broadcast to viewers.
LKL announced on Friday morning that the matches between the Kaunas “Žalgiris” and Kėdainiai “Nevėžis-Optibet” teams, which were to be played on Sunday, will also be postponed. The new date for this meeting is not yet known.
The decision was made because the coronavirus had been detected in Žalgiris forward Joffrey Lauvergne.
