According to the survey, almost 7 out of 10 Lithuanians want to evoke warm feelings and good emotions when choosing Christmas gifts this year. These are the most significant criteria for evaluating holiday surprises. Research also shows that the practicality of gifts, followed by more than half of Lithuanians, is no less important.

In addition, 6 out of 10 Maxima customers want to look for Christmas surprises both in physical stores and online. People often think of buying grocery gifts, toys, clothing, accessories, books, and other trifles. According to the survey, Lithuanians intend to buy books and household appliances more than last year.

“But choosing a Christmas gift is a very personal and responsible process. Suppose that the clothes we are going to donate may not be to the liking of your loved ones or may be the wrong size. For his part, taking into account the economic intentions of Lithuanians at Christmas, the Maxima representative emphasizes that the gift card does not restrict the latter, since it can be purchased in one of two types. It is also not possible to pay for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products with fixed denomination gift cards, ”says E. Dapkienė about the conditions.

A retailer adds that this gift can be used multiple times. The money on the card can be spent in installments and the remaining amount is paid in cash or by bank card.
