However, the Danes responded, cutting Lithuania’s lead 77-75 in the penultimate minute of the match.
Denmark then reduced the gap to a minimum and finally in the last attack had the ball in their hands. Danish defender Adamas Dorboe threw off the basket, but M. Kalnietis blocked his shot and Lithuania held out for the remaining three seconds.
D.Maskoliūnas did not register Mindaugas Girdžiūnas and Regimantas Miniotas for this match.
