With the acceleration of vaccination, more and more Lithuanians are beginning to plan trips abroad more boldly. The mass vaccination that began Monday should further boost tourism, but travelers remain concerned about different security requirements in place abroad and the obligation to self-isolate upon return.
Currently, all Europeans are waiting for the availability of a green passport, which will show the user’s vaccination status, COVID-19 test results and whether they have a history of the disease. The document is expected to be ready for use later this month. However, summer has already begun and as the number of people vaccinated increases, countries are opening their borders more and more boldly and introducing new rules for tourists arriving on their own.
So if you’ve been sick in the last 180 days. or if you have been fully vaccinated and 14 days have passed since the last vaccination. In Lithuania’s many favorite holiday destinations, you won’t have to isolate yourself. Additionally, some countries no longer require a negative PCR test for those who have been vaccinated or become ill and have supporting documentation.
