According to her, 34 people have recently been treated in hospitals, 4 patients in resuscitation and intensive care units, 15 people have been treated with oxygen masks and 2 people have been given artificial lung ventilation.
“Currently, the highest morbidity peak is recorded. (…) But currently people suffer from very mild forms of the disease and the absolute majority of them are treated on an outpatient basis, not in hospitals,” said R. Lingienė.
According to her, a total of 318 people are isolated due to chimneys in educational institutions.
“Cases of the COVID-19 disease have been registered in 21 educational institutions, of which 2 are in preschool educational institutions. 25 cases of COVID-19 were registered, 18 minors and 7 staff members fell ill, 4 were involved in the educational process and 3 were not in contact with the students, ”the NVSC representative reported.
He stressed that no one had been infected with the coronavirus at school: the infection had spread to families or other foci.
