Last year, Latvia’s first freight train moved from Mažeikiai to Rengė on the recently rebuilt railway section.

In less than a year, the 19-kilometer railway section was rehabilitated, five level crossings, six bridges, three culverts were repaired or rebuilt, the operation of traffic management systems and electrical and communication systems were installed or restored. related, and other works were carried out. accomplished.
