Panevėžys Lietkabelis (7-2) continued the winning series in the Betsafe-LKL championship on Saturday night. Nenad Chanak’s students beat Vilnius “Morning” (7-5) at home, deepening the capital’s team’s ditch and surpassing it in the tournament table.
Lietkabelis beat the capital team with the result 78:59 (19:18, 20:10, 21:19, 18:12). This is the seventh consecutive victory for the Panevėžys team.
Rookie Ryan Boatright made his debut for the Rytas team led by Donald Kairis. The American played 8 minutes and scored 4 points.
Maurice Ndour from Ryto, Senegal, played his solid but most productive match for his Betsafe-LKL championship. In all, the center scored 25 points and scored 26 utility points.
