From now on, electronic price tags will be available in all Lidl chain stores in the fruit and vegetable sections.
The first electronic price tags were tested by Lidl in Lithuania last summer at a newly opened shop in Vilnius at the G9 shopping center.
After the decision, the autumn decided to introduce electronic price lists in the rest of the online stores.
The first electronic price tags were introduced to our network last July. At that time, these price lists were being tested both in Lithuania and in other Lidl stores. We tested the pilot decision to test the electronic price lists in the departments and at the booth, we decided to implement them in the 50 online stores, distributed in a report paid for by Paulius Trijonis, Head of the Department of Sales Organization of Lidl Lithuania.
According to him, electronic price lists not only help reduce the potential risk of economic error, but also contribute to a more sustainable environmental solution. Lidl currently has 50 stores in Lithuania.
