Four players crossed the barrier of the first stage: the leaders were two: the Vilnius legionnaire “Rytas” A. Goelelock and the representative of Utena “Juventus” M.Runkauskas, who scored 23 points each. E.Šaulys (“Neptūnas” from Klaipėda), who scored 22 points, and L. Uleckas (“Rytas”), who scored 18 points, also entered the next stage.
In the second stage, A. Goelelock continued to be the leader: he entered the field last and scored 24 points. E.Šaulys (16) fell far behind him, becoming the second participant in the decisive fight. L.Uleckas and M.Runkauskas, who missed the last pitch in time, were left overboard.
