The Citadele King Mindaugas Cup (KMT) is gaining momentum. This week, Pasvalys’ Milk Stars, who crossed the Nevėžis-Optibet barrier in Kėdainiai, became the seventh team to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Before this ceremony, all the teams, according to the results of last season, divided into two baskets to form the quarterfinal pairs.

Last year, the quarterfinals of the tournament looked like this: “Žalgiris” – “Šiauliai”, “Rytas” – “Juventus”, “Neptūnas” – “Dzūkija”, “Lietkabelis” – “Pienovaigždės”. For the Utena and Vilnius clubs, this was the fourth year in a row that the two teams met in the quarterfinals, and this duel gave basketball fans a number of impressive moments.
