BNK, which has collaborated with this company for more than ten years, announced in mid-December that it was temporarily suspending the export of petroleum products through the Klaipedos Nafta terminal. The Klaipėda company then declared that all the agreements with BNK remained valid, but that the obligations arising from them were suspended indefinitely.

In early January, it was announced that BNK had decided not to renew the long-term contract with the Lithuanian railway company LTG Cargo, which transports its products to the port of Klaipeda.

Railways then told BNS that after the expiration of the three-year company agreement on December 31, starting in January, Belarusian oil shipments would be transported only according to BNK’s needs and without obligations. LTG Cargo and BNK agreed that between 60 and 70 thousand tons will be transported in January. tons of dark oil products.

In 2019, LTG Cargo transported around 2 million. tons of GNP oil and petroleum products. They are transported by rail from the Mozyr plant in Belarus to Klaipeda, the nearest seaport, where they are transshipped.
