“For the fifth year in a row, we are organizing this beauty pageant and we are very happy that people are not even waiting for the pageant to start and are already sending their fir trees, which aim to become the queen of the firs. We have received ten contenders this year, they are all really beautiful and can also win next year. When the commission arrived, it unanimously decided that this Christmas tree would become the queen, ”says Rūta Steponavičienė, project manager of the Klaipėda Festival.
The Christmas tree that travels to the temporary place in the Plaza del Teatro was measured before the trip, its height reaches about 11.6 meters. According to Aldon and Bronislaw, the children asked the city to donate a beautiful fir tree decorated with pinecones.
