“We are the younger brother of the coalition, this is always the most difficult position, because the credit goes to the older brother, and everything else… In the opposition, anything else can raise various ideas. It still amazes me that not all opposition parties have achieved the result that they should have achieved, ”Kirkilas said.
He acknowledged that the party will need to renew its leadership if the elections fail.
“I think the leadership must be renewed. We could do what we could in this situation. Now we need energy, younger people,” said G. Kirkilas, adding that Andrius Palionis could take the helm of the party.
