According to him, the frequency with which said benefit could be paid will depend on public finances.
On Thursday, the Seimas approved almost 931.7 million. A € 1 aid package for companies, workers, the poor and pensioners.
One of the measures provided for in the plan is a one-time payment of 200 euros for retirees, the disabled, orphans and job applicants.
The money is slated to reach recipients in August.
As the LRT.lt portal wrote last week, President Gitanas Nausėda has not yet decided whether to sign the law approved by the Seimas on the single payment of 200 euros.
