Kaunas disaster: passenger was hit after sudden trolleybus maneuver

On the last day, June 9, according to preliminary data, there were 51 traffic accidents on Lithuanian roads and streets. Five of them injured five people.

According to data from the Lithuanian Highway Police Service, two cases were recorded when cars went off the road. In one incident, a woman on public transport was injured, in another, the driver of one of them was injured in a collision with three cars.

Opel Vectra, a 39-year-old driver, did not control the left-hand drive car in Varėna district, in the village of Panočiai. The car entered the ditch. The driver was taken to the hospital.

According to preliminary data, a 61-year-old passenger fell into the cabin of a trolleybus driver in Kaunas, according to preliminary data, and was injured.

In the Vilnius district, town of Pakenė, on a curve to the left of the road on the right, a Nissan Almera Tino, driven by a 70-year-old Belarusian citizen, overturned. He was wounded during the incident.

A 31-year-old driver of one of them, the Ford Fiesta, was injured in a collision between three women-driven cars in Kaunas.

In the Panevėžys district of Sodeliai village, a drunk “Honda VF 750” motorcycle was neither controlled nor overturned by a 30-year-old drunk man without the right to drive. They took him to the hospital.
