Katler and Stonkus sat in cars the size of monsters never seen before in Lithuania: they didn’t seem to feel the ground under my feet

Weighing 5.3 and 7 tons, the SUVs tested monsters 5 to 6 meters long along with experienced drivers M. Katler and M. Stonkus in a meadow with specially groomed hills.

Cars designed specifically for extreme travel may seem slow and clumsy at first glance, but M. Stonkus, who tested the off-road Monster Bus, was convinced that driving this “monster” can be very extreme.

“When you find a vehicle that’s twice as big as you, the confidence to control it is cut in half. But as soon as you hear the roar of the engine, feel its power and the ability to overcome any obstacle or “climb” any mountain, you no longer want to start the wheel of this “monster”. It was an incomparable experience, “said M. Stonkus.

It takes some time to learn how to control a monstrous SUV and “squeeze” it to the max. Therefore, first, M. Stonkus sat next to the instructor in the passenger seat. The professional showed the actor the most extreme situations that this “monster” can overcome. And only after that, M. Stonkus went to the route himself, where he not only had to control this “beast”, but also overcome specially installed obstacles on the route.

M. Katler, who tested the SUV instead of a passenger, was also impressed by the extraordinary entertainment.

“When a giant car roars on the track, it is shortly before the chirp. So throughout the ride I held on to the handles, and when the SUV pulled up it seemed like I didn’t feel the ground under my feet. I really didn’t expect this “monster” to give up so much adrenaline, excitement, and thought, “Katler shared her impressions.
