The politician said the question could be raised as to why the parliament had not shut down in the past, thus anticipating events ahead of schedule.
“It just came to our attention then. The police now perform a lot of unselfish functions related to illegal migration. (…) It was necessary to reallocate resources and it took some time,” said Seimas member L. Kasčiūnas on the show.
