R. Karbauskis: our dream is for the electorate to give us a greater majority
According to the LVŽS leader, during the coronavirus crisis, the opposition in the Seimas behaved in a non-constructive way. According to R. Karbauskis, since the initiatives of the rulers are constantly accompanied by the withdrawal of the opposition ballots, their objective is to have the largest possible majority in the elections. In naming such an ambition, he appealed to the Lithuanian people to support the current ruling parties as much as possible.
“It just came to our attention then. It would be great for us to work in such conditions when we can really serve the state and make the decisions that are necessary,” said R. Karbauskis.
Otherwise, if the “peasants” meet as many or fewer mandates than they received in 2016, R. Karbauskis continued, the current opposition will continue to hinder the implementation of the work of the rulers.
