The first fight is a tense fight, at first it is a draw, in the course of which G. Paluckas begins to get nervous, the curse is resolved. It is not clear who will win.
But Paluck takes the initiative and wins the first game with a score of 21-16.
“The faces of both basketball players are sculpted with pain, they hardly regret having agreed to a match with up to 2 wins,” joked A. Mazuronis.
The second game is no longer so tense, G. Paluckas changes tactics and advances significantly from the beginning.
“In the first half, in the first half, I underestimated the opponent a bit, I thought that the taller, younger and longer legs were mine. But it turns out that no, after 40 years we are not playing basketball with our feet, but with the head ”, said the leader of the Social Democrats.
The second match ends much faster: G. Paluckas defeated R. Karbauskis with the result 21–4.
“My colleague said he would win, he was right, he did. I think if we played together with S. Skvernelis, he would not really win,” smiled R. Karbauskis.
The politician said that he was not tall and that age did not help. But if he were only 20 years younger.
After the match, R. Karbauskis joked that he had agreed that if he lost, after the Seimas elections, the LVŽS and the LSDP would form a coalition. G. Paluckas with a smile apologized for not knowing this fact.
