Jurga Greičienė appointed Deputy Minister of Justice, Gabija Grigaitė-Daugirdė appointed Chancellor

According to the Ministry of Justice, J. Greičienė, who has served in various positions in the Ministry since 2000, will be responsible for legislative and civil law issues in Minister Evelina Dobrovolska’s team.

G. Grigaitė – Daugirdė, who at that time received his doctorate in law from Vilnius University, recently worked at the Ministry of Finance, head of the Municipal Finance Group, previously advised D. Grybauskaitė on legal matters for six years, previously she worked at Seimas as an advisor to the Audit Committee.

E. Dobrovolska will also have two advisers: Katažynas Bogdzevič, expert in international law and human rights, Roka Uscil, doctor in social sciences, specializing in mediation and prison law.

As previously announced, Karolina Frolovienė, spokesperson for former Seimas president Viktoras Pranckietis, who has also worked in the Department of Prisons and the Ministry of Justice, will act as the Minister’s spokesperson.

“I am glad that the team with which we have already been able to discuss the first works brings many years of valuable and diverse experience that will help us to jointly implement the mission of the Ministry and the program of the Government. I believe that by working together we will be able to make the necessary value and qualitative changes in the field of justice and apply them without problems, ”says Justice Minister Evelina Dobrovolska.

For all other Vice Minister and Advisor appointments, the Minister promises to make a decision at a later date, taking into account current need.
