Jump cases: 1609 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Lithuania, 9 people died

Eight dead were not vaccinated or were partially vaccinated.

3,349 people were vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine. A total of 8987 people were vaccinated per day.

In total, 324,329 people have become ill with COVID-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic (of which 313,669 were laboratory confirmed).

Since the start of the pandemic, 4,896 people have died from illness caused by the COVID-19 virus. One person aged 20-29, 30-39, 50-59, 60-69, 80-89 and 90-99 died on the last day, as well as three people aged 70-79. 8 of them were not vaccinated.

According to the Department of Statistics, the average number of new cases per day in the last 7 days is 1,262.
The number of new cases in 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants currently stands at 587.7 cases. The proportion of positive diagnostic tests in 7 days is 6.4% and possibly acquired immunity is either 67.4%. persons.

A total of 298,885 people have recovered so far and 13,508 are currently ill.

1466 cases were investigated epidemiologically per day. 2661 people were isolated by risk exposure per day. In total, there are currently 55,350 people in self-isolation.

During the previous day, 3,349 people were vaccinated with the first dose, 3,961 with the second and 1,677 with the third, a total of 1,410,892 people were vaccinated with two doses, 22,233 with three and 3,190,867 were used.

117 people recently admitted to hospitals were also diagnosed with COVID-19 last day. Oxygen therapy was started in 83 new patients and 5 with artificial lung ventilation.

A total of 1,949 COVID-19 treatment beds were occupied.

Last day 14,173 molecular tests (PCR) were carried out on the presumed coronavirus, bringing the total to 3,862,427 since the start of the pandemic, as well as 13,385 antigen tests and 4,625 antibody tests per day.
